Container destuffing is an essential process in the supply chain. Containers are unloaded, and their contents are sorted and stored per clients’ requirements. This process involves careful planning, coordination, and execution to ensure that the products inside the container reach their final destination without any damage or loss.
Efficiency and accuracy are key factors that can make or break a customer’s experience. We can build trust with our clients and secure future business if we can ensure everything is done quickly and correctly.
Once the box is empty the goods go into ambient storage or straight back out as pallet delivery. Imported stock can go into bonded storage instead, and everything moves with proof of delivery.

What is container destuffing?
Container destuffing, sometimes called devanning, is unloading a shipping container and sorting and storing its contents to the customer's requirements. It involves careful planning, coordination and execution to ensure that the products inside reach their final destination without any damage or loss.
Which ports do you collect from?
We can collect and deliver containers from all UK ports, by line haul or merchant haul, on our own fleet of vehicles. We work with all the major shipping lines.
What is the difference between line haul and merchant haul?
Line haul means the shipping line arranges the inland leg and keeps control of the container to the door. Merchant haul means you arrange the inland leg yourself, so we collect the box on our own vehicles and bring it to our own accredited warehouse — which puts the timing in your hands. We can do either.
Do you return the empty container?
Yes. We take care of the collection and the restitution of the container, so the empty goes back where it is supposed to go.
Can the goods stay with you after destuffing?
Yes. We destuff, sort and palletise within a time frame to suit, then either store the goods in our 120,000 sq ft accredited warehouse or re-deliver them in FTL or LTL on our own fleet.
Can you deliver the container to us instead?
Yes — we can either deliver the container to the customer or use the storage facilities at our head office.
