We want to add someone to our team at the Glastonbury (Somerset) depot as an HGV Class 1
Driver. This position has become available due to an expanded business.
This position involves the safe delivery of our customers products to all areas of the UK.
- The truck and trailer must be roadworthy at all times whilst on the road. Pre use checks must be completed as required and defects reported accordingly
- Check the quantity and condition of all pallets and are secure at all times.
- Dispatch and complete trunking and multi-drop deliveries in due accord with legislation, including the regulations on drivers' working hours.
- Verify the deliveries with clients to ensure an amicable and helpful experience. Collect the necessary signatures and documents before heading back to the hub.
- Someone with a C+E driving licence, a valid in date DigiTacho and CPC
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Someone who can lift up to 18kg
- Must be able to communicate with other Team members in English
